Conditions of participation

For the first time in history, Afera will hold a full scale hybrid event where attendees can choose from 2 options: (1) physical participation in Valencia or (2) online-only participation from the comfort of your home or your office.


(1) CONFERENCE PACKAGE ‘PHYSICAL in VALENCIA’
(limited seats available; max 2 attendees per member company)

Includes:
Full participation in the working programme (for delegates); lunch on Thursday, 1, and Friday, 2 October; Conference proceedings; full participation in the partners and joint programme; participation in evening programme Wednesday, 30 September and Thursday, 1 October 2020.

PAYMENT FOR THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE
An invoice will be sent following registration; payment should be made within 30 days. Full refund of the fee will be granted if the cancellation is received in writing before 21 August 2020. No one will be admitted to the Conference without having paid the fee in full.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Full refund of the participation fee will be granted if the cancellation is received in writing before 21 August 2020. Full refund less a handling fee of € 200 per registrant will be granted to requests received in writing before or on 4 September 2020. NO REFUND WILL BE POSSIBLE AFTER THIS DATE.

THE RISK-FREE COVID19-CLAUSE
Should the physical conference need to be cancelled because of COVID-restrictions, we will reimburse the difference between the fee of the physical ticket and the fee of the online-only ticket. Your physical ticket will automatically be exchanged for an online-only ticket.”


(2) ONLINE-ONLY PARTICIPATION, FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME OR OFFICE

PAYMENT FOR THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Should you be unable to attend the online conference, you can easily modify the ticket on Eventbrite to allow a colleague to join the programme in your place.
